Our cottages are located on Nova Scotia's South Shore on St. Margaret’s Bay. The entrance to our cottage property is located off Highway Number 3, and in a region now often referred to as the Ten Beaches area. The main provincial highway to reach us is Highway 103 less then a one hour drive from John Stanfield International Airport.
* As you leave the airport property, take Halifax exit – once passed Tim Horton’s coffee shop, go in center lane. DO NOT TAKE TRURO EXIT.
* Upon going over – overpass, you will make a hard right turn towards Halifax.
* You are now on Highway 102.
* Approximately 5 minutes, you will see a “Y” intersection…..stay to the right, as you want Halifax/ Bedford routing.
* Stay on Hwy 102 towards Halifax ….about 15 minutes.
* You will eventually pass Costco Warehouse on your right – start watching for Peggy’s Cove exit, Highway 103 ……..stay on Hwy 103 and take Tantallon Exit 5 for shopping….or continue on 103 to Hubbards Exit, Exit 6 – about 25 minutes.
* Taking exit 6…. at stop sign, make a left; next stop sign, another left – now on Hwy 3.
* Drive through village of Hubbards, eventually entering Queensland - getting close when you see a beach. Stay on Highway.
* Once passed this, you will see another beach on your right and Colwell’s Cottages – Colwell Drive on your left.
